Last week was London Fashion Week [LFW] and there’s so much to talk about! The best way to take in LFW is through street style and runway trends. There were so many shows in such a short time, (five days of shows instead of the usual seven), we’ll unpack the top trends from the fall 2019 shows in our next few posts.
The first trend is Patchwork: layers of colors, prints, patterns & fabrics, all in one look.
The best looks are from Molly Goddard, Shrimps, Ashley Williams Preen, and Burberry. This trend reminds us of a California flower girl, circa 1973. This flower child decade is certainly the inspiration for many designers, season after season. However, the patchwork we saw in London makes the trend feel more modern and eccentric. See our favorite patchwork looks below.
Check back for the trends you’ll need to know about for fall 2019, as seen in London, in our upcoming posts.
