Simple. Follow these three steps. First, donate $2.4 million dollars to Italy for the restoration of the Trevi Fountain. Next, I hope your celebrating 90 years of fabulous fashions. Finally, this is the most crucial step, your Fendi.
So, I guess no one literally was walking on water, more above the water.
Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar, Justine Picardie told CNN: “When you actually see the extraordinary couture pieces, you’re reminded of the 90-year legacy of the artisanship of Fendi, and there is something magical about that. It doesn’t happen enough in fashion, but when it does, it makes me feel inspired and positive about the landscape.”
Models floated effortlessly to a mysteriously ethereal soundtrack. The music set the tone of the show seeing the collection was titled “Legends & Fairy Tales”. The show was momentous because of the Roman venue, but more importantly it celebrated Fendi’s 90th anniversary. The collection was an homage to the history of the brand, while still showing originality and future trends.
The lights around the fountain rose, and the water sparkled like the glitter adorning the models cheeks. The actual runway was clear, letting the water from the fountain show through. Although majestic, according to Nicole Phelps of Vogue.com, the runway was too far away for guests to see each look up close and personal.
