The New Aviators by Warby Parker!

Last week, Warby Parker unveiled three ultra-feminine styles of aviator sunglasses, designed by the one and only…Karlie Kloss.    The “Julia”, “Marple”, and “Clara” are all currently available on  Each style comes in either heirloom gold or heirloom silver.  These styles could certainly become stables in any fashionable woman’s wardrobe this summer!

Julia SunglassesThe “Julia” is perfect for the more traditional aviator wearer, with its classic aviator silhouette.

Marple SunglassesThe “Marple” is as unique as its name.  With an edgy twist on the aviator classic, it has a cat-eye flare.

Clara SunglassesThe “Clara” is perfect for ladies who love those bug-eye sunnies, but hate those thick frames.

Kloss said she was intrigued by the project because, “it was an opportunity for me to get involved from the beginning of the process—thinking through every inch of the frames, the art direction, seeing how the team works and finally the campaign.”- W Magazine

If wearing sunglasses designed by a supermodel is not reason enough to check these shades out, how about a charitable cause?  As always, Warby Parker will donate a pair of glasses for every pair sold.  On top of that, some of the proceeds will be donated to an organization close to Karlie’s heart, called Edible Schoolyard NYC.  Edible Schoolyard is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing healthy food, from farm stands to public schools.

What do you think about these model inspired frames?

Nice aviators. About time the style got man-downed. It’s nice to be able to wear “boyfriend styles, “but it’s even nicer when we’re feminine. I’d definitely wear these.
